Sutter Animal Shelter Hours Change
|
| February 28, 2013 |
Hours of operation of the Sutter County Animal Shelter will change effective Monday, March 4, with an end to public access to the shelter on Mondays, and a reduction in hours on Wednesdays.
The schedule change is being implemented due to a shortage of staff, which is creating a safety concern by stretching existing employees too thin, according to a memo sent this morning by Assistant Sutter County Administrative Officer Shawne Corley to members of the Sutter Animal Services Authority Board of Directors.
Under the new schedule, no public access to the shelter will be available on Sunday or Monday. The shelter will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
Public office hours are also changing. The office will be closed to the public on Sunday and Monday. The office will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. |
