Water Works District No. 1
Overview
The Sutter County – Water Works District No. 1 (WWD #1) is responsible
for providing water and wastewater services to the Community of Robbins. The
water system currently operates one active ground water well, one backup
ground water well and one storage tank that provides the Community's
residents with potable water. The active ground water well incorporates
treatment for iron and manganese.
The wastewater system currently serving the community is a Septic Tank
Effluent Pumping (STEP) system. It was constructed in 1997 and was funded
by a Small Community Grant, a State loan, and a County general fund loan.
The wastewater system treats on average 10 million gallons of wastewater
per year using primary and secondary treatment technology.

Rio Ramaza Community Services District
Overview
The Rio Ramaza – Community Services District (CSD) is responsible for providing
wastewater services to the Community of Rio Ramaza. Currently, the nine homes
in the Rio Ramaza Subdivision are served by 1.5 miles of sewer line, a sewer
lift station and two wastewater ponds. Treatment capacity is 10,000 gallons
per day (gpd), but the existing Average Daily Wastewater Flow (ADWF) is only
1,400 gpd.

of tampering with the water system (including the use of a fire
hydrant for purposes other than fire suppression), or any type of
