Background

Sutter County is initiating work to prepare a Groundwater Management Plan (GMP) in accordance with the California Water Code, Article 10750. The overall goal of the GMP is to ensure that the quantity and quality of groundwater in the County is sustained. This will be accomplished through development and implementation of Basin Management Objectives (BMOs) that will be an integral element of the GMP.
