Did you know that the Store contains over 650 book titles? These cover local
and California history (Indians, Gold Rush, western migration, etc.),
children’s books, regional tourism, women’s western history, ethnic histories,
agricultural history, and Dover books. There are genealogical materials, photo
albums, archival quality scrapbooks and artifact storage materials.
Unique gift items include Sutter Buttes Italian charms, cast iron banks and toys,
lovely stationery items, glass window hangings, and old-fashioned toys. A
fabulous decorated egg by museum volunteer Doreen Monahan of The Elegant
Hatchery would make an extraordinary one-of-a-kind gift. Paintings of our local
area make wonderful gifts as well.
