Bi-County Substance Abuse Services

"Options for Change" Alcohol/Drug Services
Offers a variety of outpatient services, residential placements and referrals. Oversee and provide all services & placements for Sutter County Prop. 36 referrals, Sutter County Drug Court, Yuba County Drug Court, Deferred Entry of Judgement (Sutter and Yuba Counties) and / or anyone seeking treatment for Alcohol / Drug Addiction. In addition, monitor all Alcohol and Drug Residential Contracts entered into by Sutter / Yuba Mental Health Alcohol / Drug Services with outside private non-profit providers. Located at 1965 Live Oak Blvd. in Yuba City, Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. For information call: (530) 822-7200.

First Steps Prenatal Day Treatment Program
First Steps provides intensive day treatment for substance abusing mothers. Individual and group counseling, parenting, basic life skills, aerobics and crafts available. Day care for small children provided on site. After Care Program. For further information call: (530) 822-7263.

Safe and Drug Free Schools & Communities (SDFS&C)
A substance abuse and violence prevention program using the Second Step Model for children pre-K through 5th grade.

Substance Abuse Treatment & Recovery Tools (START)
A program designed to assist youth in developing ways to reduce or eliminate drug and alcohol use and other associated problems in adolescents. For information call (530) 822-7200.

Substance Abuse Advisory Board
The Sutter Yuba Substance Abuse Board meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 3:00 p.m., except for August and December. Refer to the agenda for the meeting location. The public is welcome to attend.
